Churchill Theatre Bromley

The Churchill Theatre Bromley is a venue that offers first class entertainment and production values, where audiences can enjoy brand new touring productions before anyone else in the country.
Operated by HQ Theatres & Hospitality (HQT&H), a leading regional theatre, venue and hospitality operator that is part of the Qdos Entertainment Group, the Churchill Theatre has been an integral part of the Bromley community since it opened its doors in 1977.
Originally conceived as a traditional repertory theatre and built in the style of a European opera house, the venue, named after former Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill, is known for its vast stage and rehearsal spaces. HQT&H took over the management of the Churchill Theatre in April 2016 and in the last two and a half years, Chris Glover, the Theatre's Director, has cemented The Churchill as one of the South East's leading live entertainment venues.
Recent productions that have launched at the Churchill Theatre before embarking on a nationwide UK tour include Son of a Preacher Man and Dr Dolittle the Musical. Club Tropicana, The Picture of Dorian Gray and We Will Rock You are just a few of the productions that will premiere on stage at the Churchill Theatre in 2019. The Churchill is not only known for co-producing fresh and exciting pieces of theatre, it also hosts some of the biggest and most respected names in the fields of arts and entertainment, ranging from leading West End musicals, top comedians and bands, to dramas, dance, classical music and opera, as well as their ever popular annual pantomimes.
Brian Conley, Ed Byrne, Kerry Ellis, Brendan Cole, Lulu, Russell Watson and Jane McDonald are just a few of the many talented performers to have graced the Churchill stage in the last couple of years.
Alongside the Churchill's fantastic theatre programme, the venue boasts a recently refurbished restaurant that serves fresh, seasonal produce and the option to order dessert for the interval!
The theatre's rich programme also includes afternoon teas and backstage tours, as well as themed dining events such as Only Fools and Three Courses and The Fawlty Towers Dining Experience.
With so many performances and events to choose from, the Churchill Theatre in Bromley is the perfect place to plan your next group visit. Visit churchilltheatre.co.uk to find out more.
