Thenford Arboretum

Banbury, Oxfordshire

"One of the most impressive, varied and fascinating gardens to have been made in the last forty years anywhere in the world." Country Life March 2019.

The arboretum is set in over seventy acres and features a collection of more than three thousand different trees and shrubs together with extensive herbaceous borders.
The collection is set out within a water garden, an alpine trough garden, a sculpture garden, a rose garden a rill, and a Walled Garden.

In February the Arboretum features a collection of over 900 different types of snowdrops.

Our new visitor centre and tea room is now open alongside our coach park.
